- Rich Fegan Review added: 2018.10.11★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Quaint little railway with a gift shop. Less than 10 minute return journey but there is also a nearby mining museum and café. All volunteers/staff at both places were lovely. We couldn't go on the underground mine tour as children had to be over 5 but in all we had a lovely afternoon out topped off by a trackside walk back to the car.
- Mike Barrow Review added: 2018.06.09★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very pleasant day out here. Railway is part of Apedale Country Park and there is an excellent mining museum alongside. Good cafe and plenty of walks available. Visitors can also go down the Apedale Mine.
